Mysuru:  Dental Education Unit of JSS Dental College and Hospital will be organising a two-day Student Dental Conference 2019 with the theme “Crafting Competence in Dental Culture” from Aug. 19 at JSS Dental College and Hospital in Bannimantap.

The conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Vivek A. Saoji, Vice-Chancellor KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belagavi.

Dr. B. Manjunatha, Registrar, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, will be the guest of honour. Dr. H. Basavanna Gowdappa, In-charge Vice-Chancellor, JSS AHER will preside over the event. Dr. Prashant M. Vishwanath, IQAC Co-ordinator, Convener CCLPE, JSS AHER will be present as a special invitee.

First day, being the pre-conference day, will feature multiple hands-on workshops across all disciplines of Dental Sciences and keynote lectures by eminent speakers.

The second day, the main conference day comprises guest lectures, session lectures, panel discussions, scientific paper and e-Poster presentations that caters to the present and future challenges in dental practice and education.

The Student Dental Conference (SDC) 2019 attracts many dental students and graduates from all over India for an interactive scientific fest and provides access to various research activities related to dentistry. 

SDC Organising Chairman and JSSDCH Principal Dr. S. Ravindra and Organising Secretary Dr. Sunila B. Sangappa, Reader Department of Prosthodontics will be present.
