Two-day workshop on IC Engine Overhauling held at ATME

The Department of Mechanical Engineering of ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, in association with Tech Trunk Ventures Pvt. Ltd. Hyderabad,  had organised a two-day workshop on ‘IC Engine Overhauling’ for Mechanical Engineering students recently.

The training programme was held to enrich students’ knowledge in the field of Vehicle Dynamics, Formula 1 car design, IC engine constructional details and tuning of the same. The workshop also included a hands-on session wherein students got a chance to work on real IC engine.  

Speaking after inaugurating the workshop, Dr. L. Basavaraj, Principal of ATME, asked students to make use of the opportunity and learn with passion.  

Abhinav Jha from Tech Trunk, who was the chief guest and the resource person, shared his experience of building a Formula 1 car while studying Engineering and encouraged students to develop interest in building a car themselves.

Dr. G. Rathnakar, HoD of Mechanical Engineering, presided.  Dhanush of IV semester Mechanical Engineering, rendered the invocation. Prof. M.R. Devaraj proposed a vote of thanks.
