Two-day YHAI State-level Conference concludes

Mysuru: The concluding day of two-day State-Level conference organised by Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), Karnataka State Branch and Mysuru unit at YHAI premises in Gokulam 2nd Stage here featured a lecture by C.R. Dinesh, Principal, Government PU College and NCC Officer, Mysuru on ‘Role of Adventurous Youth in Nation-Building’.

Dinesh advised people to be adventurous with a youthful mind. He contended that a healthy society can be evolved only through good harmony and co-operation in any work.

Delivering another lecture on trekking and environmental protection, Col. Ravi Shirahatti, former CEO SSI Industries,  opined that trekking was not just for adventure but also an opportunity to study the greenery and various living species. He pointed out that other than humans, the rest of the biosphere has a good harmony with a Live and Let Live policy which should be studied by trekkers. He asked school children to be aware of environmental protection.
