Two die in road accidents

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate incidents, two bikers were killed in road accidents on Nov. 13 in city.

In the first incident, a 49-year-old rider was killed when a truck hit his bike at Manipal Hospital Signal junction at about 9.10 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Muheeb Ahmed, a resident of Ghousianagar in city. Muheeb was proceeding towards Pandavapura on his Hero Honda Splendor bike (KA-11-EH-0549) when the truck (KA-01-AL-0888), which came from Pushpashrama side of the Ring Road hit the bike resulting in the death of Muheeb. N.R. Traffic Police have registered a case.

In the second incident, an 18-year-old rider was killed when he hit the road divider at about 10 pm near Prakruthi Layout in city.

The deceased is Darshan, a resident of Chikkahalli village.

He was proceeding on his Bajaj CT 100 bike (KA-55-EC-3977) toward Chikkahalli when he lost control of the bike and rammed it into a road divider resulting in his death. Siddarthanagar Traffic Police have registered a case.
