Two EVMs in each Polling Booths: DC

Mysore/Mysuru: With 18 candidates in the fray, two Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) will be used in each of the polling booths for the elections to Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha (LS) Constituency scheduled to be held on Apr. 26, according to Deputy Commissioner (DC)  Dr. K.V.  Rajendra, also the Returning Officer.

A total of 20,72,337 voters are in the electoral roll in Mysuru-Kodagu Constituency including 10,17,120 male, 10,55,035 female and 182 others (sexual minorities).

A total of 2,192 Polling Booths excluding additional 10 booths that takes the total to 2,202 booths will be set up including 273 in each of Madikeri and Virajpet Assembly Constituencies, 235 in Periyapatna, 274 in Hunsur, 341 in Chamundeshwari, 265 in Krishnaraja (KR), 248 in Chamaraja (CR) and 291 in Narasimharaja (NR).
