In the Fourth State Ranking Veteran Table Tennis (TT) Tournament of the new season, sponsored by D.P. Gopinath from Bengaluru and conducted by Karnataka Veteran Table Tennis Committee (KVTTC) at Malleswaram Club, Bengaluru, on Oct. 30, Mysuru won two golds and a silver.

K.V. Krishnamurthy, fondly known as KVK among TT Veterans, grabbed gold in 80+ Men’s Singles beating Gopalan and Sathyanarayana in the League.

Unsatisfied with 1 gold, he tried, playing with K.L. Sridhar, also from Mysuru, as partner in 60+ Men’s Doubles, for another but had to be satisfied with only silver.

The gold for 75+ Men’s Singles went to Dr. B.R. Sainath Iyer of Mysuru when he beat Mallikarjunaiah, Prabhakar, Kabra and M.A. Krishnaswamy in the League matches without losing a game.
