Two held for youth’s murder

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru South Police have arrested two persons on charges of murdering a youth and have remanded them to  judicial custody.

On Jan. 17, 22-year-old Ramesh of Basallihundi in the taluk had gone missing and his body was found on Jan. 21 in Yennehole Katte between Kudanahalli and Kadakola.

Based on the complaint from deceased Ramesh’s father Veerabhadrappa, Mysuru South Police, who registered a case, conducted an operation and arrested the two accused on Monday.

During interrogation, the accused are said to have confessed of murdering the youth as he was pestering a married woman for relationship with him.

Mysuru South Inspector Dr. M.L. Shekar, Sub-Inspectors Basappa Koravi, Surendra and Shanthalingaiah and staff Mohan, Prasanna Kumar, C.K. Mahesh, Narayan, Mahadevappa Jaligida, Nagaraju, Shilpa, Sanjay and Krishnamurthy took part in the operation.
