Mysuru: Two persons were killed while another sustained serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling rammed into the Eicher vehicle near Kalasthavadi Gate on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway on Mar. 28 morning.
While the deceased have been identified as Mukund (30) and Sandeep (30), natives of Gujarat, the injured is 26-year-old Pooja Sahani, said N.R. Traffic Inspector to SOM.
It is said that Mukund, Sandeep and Pooja, all techies, to spend their weekend, were proceeding towards Mysuru in a Hyundai Accent car during which the person behind the wheels of the car lost control of it, which rammed into the Eicher vehicle resulting in all the three sustaining serious injuries.
While Mukund, who sustained serious head injuries died on the spot, Sandeep breathed his last while being shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, Pooja who had sustained injuries to her eyes as glass shards had pierced her eyes, underwent a surgical procedure at a private hospital in Mysuru.
N.R. Traffic Police have registered a case.
