Two killed in road accidents

Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases two riders have lost their lives in road accidents in city.

In the first case, P. Hemanth Kumar (23), a resident of Alanahalli, was proceeding on his Bajaj Pulsar bike (KA-55-EB-9559) from Halli Bogadi Ring Road Signal towards Rajarajeshwari Ring Road junction on the service road when he rammed into an electric pole in front of Nagalingeshwara and Bogalingeshwara Temple resulting in Hemanth sustaining serious injuries.

KR Traffic Police, who rushed to the spot, summoned an ambulance and tried to shift the injured Hemanth to K.R. Hospital, but he (Hemanth) is said to have breathed his last midway.

KR Traffic Police have registered a case.

In the second case, Venkatesh, a resident of Metagalli, was proceeding on his scooter (KA-55-EA-6957) from Eidgah Maidan in Tilaknagar towards Highway Circle, when Mohammed Zaheer, who came on a bike from the opposite direction, rammed into the scooter causing serious injuries to Venkatesh, who breathed his last while being shifted to K.R. Hospital.

NR Traffic Police have registered a case.
