Srirangapatna: Two persons were killed on the spot, while another sustained serious injuries, when the car in which they were travelling toppled near T.M. Hosur Gate on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway late Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as Trilok Jadav (25), a resident of Laggeri in Bengaluru and Roopesh (25), resident of Dasarahalli in Bengaluru.
The injured, identified as Raghu Prakash, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mysuru.
It is reported that the car was coming to Mysuru from Bengaluru, when the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle, jumped the road divider and hit a lorry coming from the opposite direction on the other road.
The impact was so severe that Trilok and Roopesh were killed on the spot and Raghu Prakash sustained serious injuries.
Srirangapatna Rural Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
