Mysuru: Udayagiri Police have arrested two persons on charges of snatching the mobile phone of a delivery boy and have recovered the phone from them.
The accused have been identified as 21-year-old Irfan and 22-year-old Suhail, residents of Ghousianagar in city.
The accused on Tuesday evening had snatched the mobile phone of Rajesh, a delivery boy of Flipkart company when he was walking near Nehru Park to deliver a product and had fled from the spot.
Following the incident, Rajesh had filed a complaint at Mandi Police Station. Mandi Police, who registered a case in this regard, arrested the two yesterday morning and recovered the phone worth about Rs.16,000 from them.
During interrogation, the Cops came to know that the accused had taken loans and to repay the loans, the accused had snatched the mobile phone from Rajesh.
