Maddur:  Even as Thoppanahalli village in the taluk continues to remain tense three days after the murder of JD(S) leader Prakash, Maddur Police today arrested two more accused, thus bringing the total number of arrests made in the case to six.

Following Prakash’s murder at Maddur on Dec.24, the Police had registered FIR against eight accused. Four of the accused, namely Shivaraj, Yogesh, Hemanth and Swamy, were arrested on Tuesday and today, two more accused have been nabbed, according to Police sources. However, names of the two accused were not immediately revealed.
