Two nabbed while trying to sell elephant tusk

Mysuru: Forest Mobile Squad arrested two persons while selling an elephant tusk. The accused are Suresh alias Kulla, a resident of Junglehaadi in Virajpet and Chethan, a resident of Kattekeri in Mandya. 

Mobile squads sleuths, based on a tip-off, nabbed the duo near Anechowkur in Periyapatna and recovered a 20 kg tusk and a Tata Indica car (KA-12-B-0292).  The nabbing operation was supervised by Chief Conservator Of Forests (Mobile Squad) CCF T. Heeralal.
