The main purpose of the visit is to promote mutual understanding of values and culture among the youth and to develop better relations between India and China.  Representing all parts of the country, the Youth Delegation actually is a contingent of youth selected from across reputed Institutes in India who are involved in Social Service, especially through NSS. These representatives are sent for cultural exchange or youth festivals in some friendly country to represent India and also learn from the host country’s culture.

This year, out of five students selected from Karnataka, two student volunteers from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) —  B.N. Inchara Bhavith, M.Sc., Biochemistry student from Department of Water and Health, and Deeksha M.
