Two persons go missing from city

Mysuru: In separate incidents, two persons have gone missing from V.V. Puram and Varuna Police limits. In the first case, a 56-year-old man, who was undergoing treatment at the Railway Hospital, has gone missing from July 21.

The person has been identified as V. Stanis Laus, who worked as a welder with the Railways and a resident of Railway Quarters in Ashokapuram.

According to the complaint lodged by Chinnamma, wife of the missing person, Stanis was admitted to the Railway Hospital on July 20. Th next day, she  left for her house at about 1.15 pm as one of her children  was ill. When she returned at about 2.30 pm, she found her husband missing from the hospital and despite searching for him in the hospital premises and enquiring with his friends, he was not found.

Chinnamma, on July 22, lodged a missing complaint at V.V. Puram Police Station.

Stanis Laus is 5.8 ft. tall, lean built, oval faced, speaks Kannada and Tamil, has a scar on the right side of the forehead and was wearing a blue coloured shirt and a grey pant at the time of going missing.

In the second case, a 34-year-old man has been reported missing from Pillahalli village coming under Varuna Police Station in the taluk.

The missing person, identified as Nanjundaswamy, has gone missing from July 8.

He is 5.6 ft. tall, normal built, oily-red complexioned, speaks Kannada and was wearing a white coloured full arm shirt and a blue and green coloured checks lungi at the time of going missing.
