Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru South Police have arrested a two-wheeler lifter and have recovered four bikes from him.
The arrested accused is 20-year-old Mohammed Tousif, a welder by profession and a resident of Rajivnagar in city.
On May 20, Tousif was riding a two-wheeler near APMC A Block on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road when he saw the Cops conducting checking of vehicles and tried to take a U turn but was caught by the Police. When the Police asked him to produce the vehicle documents, he began to behave in a suspicious manner following which the Police took him into custody and interrogated him during which he is said to have confessed of stealing the bike.
He is also said to have told the Cops that he had stolen four more bike. Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered the four stolen bikes.
