Five vehicles worth over Rs. 2.3 lakh recovered
Mysuru: In separate cases, N.R. Police and City Crime Branch (CCB) Police have arrested three persons on charges of lifting two-wheelers and have recovered five vehicles worth about Rs. 2.3 lakh.
In the first case, N.R. Police on July 30 arrested a person, who was trying to sell a silver colour Hero Honda Splendor Pro bike at less price near Columbia Asia Hospital. Later the Police recovered two bikes worth about Rs. 80,000. The arrested is 22-year-old Vijay Kumar of Dhanagalli village in Jayapura Hobli.
The accused told the Police that he along with his friend had stolen the two bikes near the Tumkur Railway Quarters compound and the Police recovered one Hero Honda Splendor bike and Bajaj Discover bike. The Police are looking out for the other accused. In the second case, the CCB Police on July 30 arrested two persons on charges of lifting two-wheelers and recovered three vehicles. The accused are 19-year-old Sheik Saddam of Tanveer Sait Nagar and 20-year-old Ismail Shariff of Bismilla Nagar in Rajivnagar. The Police came to know that the duo had stolen two Honda Activa scooters and one Hero Honda bike at Bannimantap, V.V. Puram and Hassan. The vehicles were recovered.
