Two-wheeler lifters arrested

Eight scooters worth Rs. 5 lakh recovered

Mysore/Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police personnel on Aug. 14 have arrested two persons on charges of lifting scooters at various places across the city and have recovered eight Honda Dio scooters worth Rs. 5 lakh from them.

The arrested are 18-year-old Suhail Pasha, a welding and fabrication worker from Haleemnagar and 19-year-old Shoaib Khan, an employee of a fruit shop and a resident of Udayagiri.

During interrogation, the Police came to know that the two accused along with another youth had stolen eight Honda Dio scooters across the city and based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered the stolen scooters thus solving three cases each at Vijayanagar and Hebbal Police Stations and two cases at Saraswathipuram Police Station.

Umesh and Alexander and staff Ramaswamy, Chikkanna, Paramesh, Shivaraju, Lakshmikanth, M.R. Ganesh, Srinivasa Prasad, Anand, Anil, Chandrashekar, Rajashree, Shivakumar and Gautham, who took part in the nabbing and recovery operation.
