Two-wheeler lifters arrested

Four vehicles worth Rs.3.1 lakh recovered

Mysuru:  Two persons, who were involved in two-wheeler lifting cases in N.R. Police limits and had gone absconding, have been arrested by N.R. Police on Nov.26.

The arrested bike-lifters are 20-year-old Kaizer Pasha and 19-year-old Mohammed Razik, both residents of Aleemnagar in Bannimantap here.

During interrogation, the accused are said to have confessed of stealing four two-wheelers along with their friends at S.S. Nagar, Tilaknagar, Devaraj Urs Road and Bellur town.

Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered one Bajaj Pulsar 220 bike, one Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 bike, one TVS Apache RTR bike and one Honda Activa scooter, worth about Rs.3.1 lakh from them.

Following their arrest and recovery of stolen vehicles, the Police have solved one case each in NR, Devaraja, Mandi and Bellur Police limits.

N.R. Sub-Division ACP Gopal supervised NR Inspector B. Basavaraju, SI N. Mohan and staff Ramesh, Manjunath, Mahadeva, Krishna and Ramesh in the nabbing and recovery operation.
