Three scooters worth about Rs.85,000 recovered

Mysuru: Ashokapuram Police, during their operation at Srirampura 2nd Stage on Dec.20, arrested three persons on charges of lifting two-wheelers and have recovered three scooters from them.

The arrested are 21-year-old Sijju, 18-year-old Shashikumar and 21-year-old Ravi, all residents of Ramabainagar in city.

During interrogation, the accused are said to have confessed of stealing one Suzuki Swiss, one Honda Dio and one Honda Activa scooters in Ashokapuram and Lakshmipuram Police limits.

Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered the stolen scooters worth about Rs.85,000 from them and have solved one case in Ashokapuram and two cases in Lakshmipuram Police Station.

K.R. Sub-Division ACP Dharmappa supervised Ashokapuram Inspector P.A. Siddaraju and staff Mahadeva, Anand and Jagadish in the nabbing and recovery operation, according to a press release from the Public Relations Officer (PRO), City Police Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru.
