Two-wheeler rally marks National Road Safety Month

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of 32nd National Road Safety Month, V.V. Puram Traffic Police conducted a two-wheeler rally to create awareness on road safety and traffic rules in city this morning.

Girl students from Mahajana and Seshadripuram Colleges, numbering about 140, took out the rally from V.V. Puram Traffic Police Station, which was flagged off by DCP (Crime and Traffic) M.S. Geetha Prasanna.

The helmet-wearing riders with pillion riders holding placards with messages on road safety and traffic rules passed through Temple Road, Hunsur Road, Hinkal Ring Road, Seshadripuram College Junction, Bharat Cancer Hospital, KRS Road, Kumbarakoppal Gate and culminated at V.V. Puram Traffic Police Station. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sandesh Kumar, V.V. Puram Traffic Inspector Aruna Kumari, ASI M.N. Murali, Inspector Arun and others were present.
