Mysore/Mysuru: Marking the birthday of Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda, Congress leaders and fans of the MLA, will be holding a Udyoga Mela and free Health Check-up Camp in the    city on July 24.

Addressing a meeting at a Community Hall here on Monday, Indira Gandhi Block Congress President Ravi Manchegowdanakoppal said that the Udyoga Mela will be held at J.K. Grounds near the City Railway Station on July 24 from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Health Check-up Camp too will be held in association with over 10 hospitals at the same venue, he said adding that more than 30 IT-BT companies will be taking part in the Udyoga Mela.

Ravi further said that sewing machines will be distributed to more than 500 eligible women of Chamaraja constituency.

City Congress President R. Murthy, former Mayors Pushpalatha Chikkanna, B.K. Prakash, T.B. Chikkanna and Modamani, former Karnataka Pradesh Kuruba Sangha President B. Subramanya, District Vokkaligara Sangha President Mariswamy, Congress leaders Ramesh Rayappa, Mahadevappa, Nagabhushan (ex-Corporator), N.R. Nagesh, Ramesh, Nagaraj, Ashok, Balu, Yogesh, Tanuja Mahesh, Gayatri Narayanagowda, Manjunath, Ibrahim, Ananthnarayan and others                                                    were present.
