Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Mutt, Suttur, has organised various programmes as part of Ugadi and Allama Prabhu Jayanthi tomorrow (Mar. 30).  The programmes will be held in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji.

Maharudrabhisheka, Sahasra Bilvarchane, Mahamangalarati and Belliratha Prakarothsava will be performed at the Gadduge of Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji.

At 7.30 am, procession of traditional cars accompanied by mangalavadya will be held followed by recital of vachana by students and music teachers.  At 10.30 am, Prof. Mysore Krishnamurthy will deliver a lecture on ‘Shivapathada Belakina Kirana Allama Prabhu.’  Dr. K.G. Puttahonnaiah will read the new ‘Suttur Sri Shivarathreeshwara Panchanga’ brought out by Bharatiya Jyothirvignana Samshodana Kendra.
