As part of Ugadi celebration, city’s Sri Krishnadevaraya Tarunara Balaga having office in Vinayaka Temple premises, 18-19th main road, Vijayanagar second stage, will be conducting a variety of events for girls, boys and women, near Krishnadevaraya Circle (KD Circle) at 9 am on Apr. 2 (Sunday).

Girls below 12 years can take part in musical chair, breaking the pot and lemon and spoon race competitions. Boys below 12 years can take part in 100mts running race, slow cycle race and breaking the pot competitions. Women (no age limit) can take part in musical chair and rangoli contests.

Those interested, can register their names at the spot on Apr.2. The stage programme will be held at 6 pm with former Principal of St. Philomena’s College Prof. M. Krishnegowda as the chief guest. Prizes will be distributed to the winners of the contests on the occasion.

The stage event will also feature a ‘Sugama Sangeetha; programme to be presented by singer M.S. Prahlad (brother of later Mysuru Ananthaswamy).
