Mysuru lad S.D. Prajwal Dev, representing India in the Uganda F4 Futures $15,000 Men’s Tennis Championship at Kampala, on Wednesday entered the quarter-finals in the men’s Singles event.
In the men’s Singles pre-quarterfinal, Prajwal Dev, seeded eighth, beat Lebanon’s Samaha Giovani 6-3, 6-4 in a match which lasted for one hour and 35 minutes. Earlier in the first round, Prajwal had scored a well-earned win over Sylvester Emmanuel (Nigeria) 6-2, 6-0.
