Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Sharmiste,’ a Kannada play featuring former Minister and renowned actress Umashree will be staged on Dec. 13 (Saturday) at Natana Rangashaale in city at 6.30 pm. The one-woman play, written by Belur Raghunandan and directed by former Rangayana Director Chidambara Rao Jambe, will be presented by Ranga Sampada Theatre Group, Bengaluru.
Addressing mediapersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan yesterday, Ranga Sampada Secretary V.M. Nagesh said the very first three shows of the play was held at Bhoomigeeta in Rangayana and Natana was playing host for the 25th show.
‘Sharmiste’ had been successfully staged in Dharwad, Shivamogga, Belagavi, Theerthahalli, Davangere and Bengaluru.
