July 23, 2021

Bengaluru: Are you unhappy with your II PUC results? Then shoot an application before July 30 and be ready to take fresh exams in August.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar told media here on Wednesday that students who are not happy with their results, may meet their respective  College Principals and submit an application seeking cancellation of the already announced results before July 30. For those students, fresh exams will be conducted in August.

The Principals must upload the applications received in Students Achievement Tracking portal before July 30. Besides, the received applications must be submitted to Office of the district Deputy Director before July 31 and the Deputy Directors of the respective districts must ensure that it reaches the Department Head Office before Aug. 2.

On re-payment of PU examination fees, the Minister clarified that there was no plan to refund the exam fees in the wake of cancellation of II PU exams.

Replying to a question, Suresh Kumar said that the Department of Higher Education will make necessary arrangements to increase the number of seats in Degree Colleges following en masse passing of all PU students without holding examination due to COVID pandemic. As there will be heavy rush of students in all Degree Colleges seeking admission this year, discussions have been held                                                                    with Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan, who is also the Higher Education                 Minister, who has assured of increasing seats so that all students get admission, he added.
