Union Minister to arrive in city

Mysuru: Union Minister for State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Anant Kumar Hegde will arrive in city this evening on a two-day visit to participate in various programmes organised by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Sri Kalyana Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy Temple, Kalyanagiri and others.

The Minister will arrive at Mysore Airport in Mandakalli at 8 pm today and will stay overnight at CPWD Guest House in Nazarbad.

On Dec. 3, Minister Anant Kumar Hegde will take part in an interaction programme with the Mysuru-based entrepreneurs at Hotel Southern Star between 10.30 am 11.30 am.

Later, he will travel to Hunsur to take part in the Hanuma Jayanti celebrations and return to Mysuru to inaugurate the Lakshadeepotsava at Sri Kalyana Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy Temple at Kalyanagiri at 6 pm. RSS Dakshin Pranth Convenor Ma. Venkatram and Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha will be present. He will stay overnight in Mysuru.

On Dec. 4, the Minister will visit Suttur Mutt in city and meet Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji after which he will visit JSS College on Ooty Road to take part in an event. Later, he will proceed to JP Nagar to visit one of senior BJP leaders. He will visit Mysuru City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath’s residence at Vijayanagar 3rd Stage and stay overnight in city. Anant Kumar Hegde will leave to Bengaluru on Dec. 5 morning.
