United Christian Forum pays tribute to Sri Lanka blast victims

Mysuru:  Hundreds of people gathered at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in St. Philomena’s Church premises to pay tributes to the victims of bomb blasts in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. They offered special prayers under the aegis of United Christian Forum (UCF), Mysuru, this morning.

Bishop of Mysuru and President of UCF Most Rev. K.A. William, who condemned the ghastly incident, said that no religion preached terror but preached only peace and harmony as the whole world is one family.  While praying for the souls of deceased and comfort for the bereaved and injured, the Forum appealed to all to maintain peace and brotherhood, and not allow such incidents to sow the seeds of revenge or hatred against the perpetrators.

President of CRI Mysuru Rev. Fr. Dominic Vaz, Rev, Gurushantha, Vicar General Rev. Msgr. C. Rayappa, Vice-President of UCF Mysuru Zone Rev. Devakumar, Sr. Sujatha, Rev. Grateful, Pastors Dr. Stanly John, Iranna Solomon, M. Chelliah, Member of UCF Mysuru Zone M.B. Suresh and others were present.
