Mysore/Mysuru: Following an assurance from the authorities, the University of Mysore (UoM) hostel workers and house-keeping staff, who had jointly staged an indefinite stir in front of Kuvempu Statue at the University campus main gate on Bogadi road for the past three days, ended their stir on Friday evening.

UoM Registrar V.R. Shylaja, who visited the protestors, assured to address their demands, following which the protestors called off their indefinite stir that was launched on Wednesday.
