Mysuru: University of Liverpool Executive Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Kenneth J. Badcock will be visiting Mysuru on Jan.22 to meet with various academic and research organisations including Universities for student and faculty exchange programmes.
He will first interact with the in-Charge Vice-Chancellor of University of Mysore Prof. C. Basavaraju. The University of Liverpool has chosen institutions in Mysuru and Bengaluru to foster this partnership as Karnataka is vibrant in terms of academic excellence.
Prof. Kenneth was previously Head of the School of Engineering at Liverpool, and held academic positions at Glasgow University. He holds a Mathematics degree from the University of Strathclyde, and a doctorate from Oxford University, according to a press release from Mysore School of Architecture.
