Unnatural deaths in city

Mysuru: In separate cases, three unnatural deaths have been reported in city. While one person had committed suicide, the other was found dead at his home and another person was found dead near a bus stop in city.

In the first case, Ibrahim (58), a resident of Gayathripuram, who was said to be depressed, committed suicide by consuming poison, according to Police.

Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.

In the second case, Papegowda (54), a resident of Kuvempunagar, was found dead in a suspicious manner at his house. His body was found in a sitting posture in front of the computer at his house.

Deceased Papegowda was working at a warehouse belonging to the Food and Civil Supplies Department at Kollegal.

Papegowda’s family members, who had gone to a relative’s house, returned on Sunday and found him dead.

Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case in this regard.

In the third case, V.V. Puram Police have found a body of an unidentified person, aged about 65 years near the bus stop in front of Sri Lakshmi Venkataramanaswamy Temple on KRS Road on Apr.13.

The deceased is oily red complexioned, oval faced, 5 ft. tall, has the names ‘RANGAMMA’ and ‘BORAMMA’ tattooed on his right hand and the names ‘SHANTAMMA, MURTHY and RAMA’ tattooed on his left hand and was found wearing black coloured pant, brown striped shirt and a green and black T-shirt.
