Unresolved UGD issue: Is MCC really working?

April 12, 2025

Sir,

It has been more than 6 months since the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) contractor botched up the UGD chamber near our house. Despite multiple complaints and visits to the MCC office, nobody has been able to resolve the issue resulting in severe inconvenience to the residents.

Residents are suffering as there is no drainage system and the existing chambers have been blocked for a while now. It looks like a common man without political support or affiliation cannot get any work done in MCC.

If the MCC Commissioner is reading this, I hope he takes the concerned engineers and contractors to task to resolve this UGD issue immediately.
