Unveiling of ‘Vishwaguru Basavanna’ portrait at District Centres on Feb. 17

During the unveiling of the portrait of ‘Vishwaguru Basavanna’ by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Feb. 13, it was directed to unveil the portrait of ‘Vishwaguru Basavanna’ at all District Centres by the District Ministers and at all Taluk Centres by local MLAs on Feb. 17.

Accordingly, a programme has been organised at Kalamandira in Mysuru on Feb. 17 at 11 am to unveil the portrait at the Mysuru District Centre by District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa.

All the officers and staff of District-level Departments and affiliated offices have been asked to compulsorily take part in the programme and similar programme has been organised at Taluk Centres led by local MLAs, according to a press release from Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. K.V. Rajendra.
