UoM Convocation on Sept. 7

Governor-Chancellor Thaawarchand Gehlot will preside over the 101st Convocation of University of Mysore (UoM) to be held at Crawford Hall in city on Sept. 7. Director General of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Dr. Shekhar C. Mande will deliver the Convocation address. Higher Education Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan will be present.

In view of COVID, only 100 members will be allowed to attend the event at the venue and others will join the event virtually. Names of those who will be conferred Honorary Doctorates will be finalised by Sept. 3, said UoM Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar.
