Mysore/Mysuru: Seeking fulfilment of their various demands, University of Mysore (UoM) Hostel workers under the banner of AIUTUC-affiliated Karnataka Rajya Samyukta Vasathinilaya Karmikara Sangha staged a demonstration in front of Crawford Hall here this morning.

Their demands included continuation of service of all outsourced hostel workers who have been serving for years, Cheque payment of wages for two months of lockdown period, direct remittance of EPF contribution to the EPF accounts of all workers, reimbursement of all ESI Hospital Bills and a hike in wages, among others. 

AIUTUC  State Convenor Chandrashekar Meti,  office-bearers Siddaraju, Raju, Harish, Palaksha, Madhuchandra, Satish and others took part in the dharna.
