UoM VC delivers 10th Graduation Day address at NIE

Mysore/Mysuru: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, an Autonomous Institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, conducted its 10th Graduation Day on Jan. 23 at the NIE Diamond Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex here.

The 10th batch of 1,072 students graduated and the provisional degree certificates and rank certificates were awarded on this occasion. 

In all, 41 B.E., 25 M.Tech., and 3 MCA rank holders received the gold medals and 7 faculty members received gold medals for completing  their Ph.Ds at NIE Research Centre, Mysuru. 

Dr. G. Hemantha Kumar, Vice- Chancellor, University of Mysore,  who was the chief guest, delivered Graduation Day address. 

D. Sudhanva, Hon. Secretary, NIE, presided. Dr. K . Raghuveer, Principal, welcomed. Dr. Shabana Sultana, Controller of Examinations, proposed a vote of thanks.
