Mysore/Mysuru: The 106th convocation of University of Mysore (UoM) is scheduled to be held on Jan.5, 2026 at 11.30 am at Crawford Hall, the administrative building of University of Mysore.

Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, who is also the Chancellor of the Varsity, will preside over the ceremony. Former Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)  Dr. S. Somanath will deliver the convocation address. Higher Education Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar will be present.

The Varsity authorities have appealed to the donors, who have instituted endowment awards, to inform in person, about any change in their residential address, to enable dispatching of invitation cards without any hassles. The changes can be also notified through post or e-mail to: [email protected], stated a press release from the UoM Registrar.
