Mysore/Mysuru: Uttar Pradesh (UP) Governor Anandiben Patel visited Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday and sought the blessings of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji.

Anandiben was welcomed with  school children’s band and cultural performances by the folk troupe. She later performed puja to Nandi Kamba and watched Puja Kunita, Veeragase, Kamsale and other folk forms.

Suttur Mutt Junior Pontiff Sri Jayarajendra Swamiji, JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary S.P Manjunath, Executive Secretary Dr. C.G. Betsurmath and others  were present during the VIP’s visit to the Mutt.
