Mysuru: The 227th Urs-e-Sherieff of Hazrath Tipu Sultan Shaheed will be celebrated on Aug.1 and 2 at Gumbad-e-Shahi, Ganjam, in Srirangapatna.
On Aug.1, the Sandal procession will commence from Masjid-e-Ala in Srirangapatna at 3 pm and will Gumbad-e-Shahi in Ganjam at 6 pm.
From 7 pm onwards, a special programme on Urs will be held at the Gumbad and will continue till the next day (Aug.2) morning. More than 30,000 devotees are expected to participate.
