Ursu Mandali to celebrate Nalwadi Jayanti tomorrow

Mysuru, June 3 (BLU&DM)- The city’s Ursu Mandali Sangha, in association with various other organisations, will celebrate the 142nd Rajarshi Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Jayanthyotsava at Sri Chamarajendra School for Excellence, K.R. Boulevard here at 9 am on June 4.
Addressing a press meet, Sangha President M.A. Srikanth Raje Urs said that prior to the stage programme, a grand procession will be taken out from the School premises at 9 am. The procession will be flagged off by erstwhile Mysore Royal Family member Pramoda Devi Wadiyar in the presence of Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar and other dignitaries.
Malavalli Sri Manteswamy Mutt Seer M.L. Varchasvi Srikanta Siddalinga Raje Urs, Boppegowdanapura Manteswamy Mutt Seer Sri Jnanananda Channaraje Urs and Dharmadhikari of Kurubana Katte Kshetra, Kollegal Taluk, Varun Lingaraje Urs will grace the occasion.
The procession will pass through Krishnaraja Boulevard, RTO Circle, Agrahara Circle and Sayyaji Rao Road before culminating at K.R. Circle in the heart of the city, where Nalwadi’s statue will be garlanded.
Srikanth Urs has appealed organisations and members of public to take part in the event in celebration of Nalwadi’s immense contributions to Mysuru.
Sangha former President HMT Lingaraje Urs, office-bearers H.D. Nanjundaraje Urs, Manoj Urs and others were present.
