US delegates visit STG Public School

Mandya: A team of 10 US delegates from the Saginaw Valley University, Michigan, USA, visited STG Public School that is nestled in a small village called Chinakurali in Mandya on July 18.

They were here on a day’s visit to know more about the school curriculum, pedagogy and the effectiveness of the school in this rural set up. After a brief introductory session and a campus walk, the delegates interacted with the students in classes.

By the end of the day they were amazed at the transformation that is taking place steadily and were overwhelmed to see how the school is empowering the community. Dr. David Cline, the senior-most Professor in the team, had words of praise for the management for having started a magnificent school in a village and applauded the efforts of all the staff who are tirelessly working to make                                                             learning happy, safe and significant at STG Public School, according to a press release.
