Utilise defunct Basappa Memorial Hospital as COVID Health Centre

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru BJP Media Pramukh N. Rajkumar has urged the district administration to utilise the defunct Basappa Memorial Hospital (BMH) as COVID Health Centre.

In a press release, BJP District Media Pramukh N. Rajkumar has said, “Seth Mohandas Tulsidas Hospital on JLB Road has recently been readied and operationalised by Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), District Administration (Health Department) along with Cauvery Heart and Multi-Speciality Hospital. It has now been designated as a high-tech 100-bed COVID Health Centre in city. The district administration should also consider utilising the defunct Basappa Memorial Hospital to treat and rehabilitate infected patients.”

He has also urged the administration to distribute food packets every day to homeless persons in city through ISKCON’s meal project, as most of them are struggling to survive due to lockdown.
