Mysuru: Vivekananda Institute for Leadership Development (V-Lead), Hebbal,  has received Institutional Award for Rural Empowerment under Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial Award for Educational Excellence.  This award was given by Bangalore Educational Trust and International School of Business and Research during its Founder’s Day on Sept.7.

V- Lead, an initiative of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), which is a development organisation engaged in building a new civil society in India through its grassroots to policy level action in Health, Education, Community Development and Training sectors. The Institute provides its academic services by offering a course called Master’s in Development Management (recognised by University of Mysore), a two-year post-graduation programme and also provides capacity building for rural and urban youth through its various training programmes.
