Mahalingappa (85), a resident of Veena Shamanna road, Agrahara in city, passed away at his residence in the early hours of this morning.

He was the throne assembler at the Mysore Palace for over 6 decades. He is survived by his wife Mahadevamma, 3 sons, 3 daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be performed at Veerashaiva burial ground in Vidyaranyapuram later this evening.
