Mysore/Mysuru: Established in 2002, Vaibhav Speech and Hearing Centre in city has been serving the needy patients with speech and hearing disorders and has made a good name since then.

The Centre was started by G.G. Asha, a qualified Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist, who is the daughter of late G.B. Govind Raja Setty, proprietor of the famous Ramya-Drive-in-Restaurant.

After completing her M.Sc. in Speech and Hearing at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) in 1987, Asha worked there for eight years and started the first private Speech and Hearing Clinic at Mysuru in 2002, with the help of her husband Manmohan Prasad. The Centre was started at Dr. Mahadev’s Clinic on Irwin Road and was later shifted to Dhanvantri Road in 2007. Vaibhav Speech and Hearing Centre’s second branch was opened at Janata Nagar in 2019.

Asha’s children R.M. Vaibhav and R.M. Nagarjun are also Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, following their mother’s  footsteps.
