Valedictory of B.Ed 45th batch held at St. Joseph’s College

Mysuru: “Every teacher should adapt pedagogical knowledge in the teaching learning process,” said Prof. M.K. Umanatha, Joint Director, Collegiate Education, Mysuru Division, at the valedictory function of the 45th Batch of B.Ed students of St. Joseph’s College of Education in city recently.

Delivering the presidential address, Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William, Bishop of Mysore, emphasised on the relevance of commitment and dedication in teaching profession and advised the teachers to think from the perspective of the society at large.

Outgoing students of the college took pledge to abide by values of a teacher and render service to the Nation.

Msgr. Leslie Moras, Episcopal Vicar General for Health & Education, Diocese of Mysore, Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar, Secretary and Correspondent, Mysore Diocesan Educational Society (MDES), Prof. Mani Mathew, CEO of St. Joseph’s Colleges, were present on the occasion.

Dr. Priya Mathew, Principal of the College, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Anthony Paul Raj, Assistant Professor, proposed a vote of thanks.
