Vanakaranayaka (55), an Assistant Teacher and a resident of Maadallikoppal village near Bannikuppe in the taluk passed away on Thursday.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Bannikuppe on Friday.
