Variety entertainment for specially-abled children

Mysuru: It was a really special day for over 370 specially abled children yesterday as they were treated to a variety of fun and entertainment at a programme organised under the joint aegis of Mysuru Heritage Round Table – 109 (MHRT) and Mysuru Heritage Ladies Circle – 109 (MHLC) as part of Kannada Rajyotsava and Children’s Day celebrations at Jayamma Govinde Gowda Kalyana Mantap in Kuvempunagar.

Over 370 children from 22 special schools of the city took part along with their parents in this memorable event.

All the participant children were treated to a variety of fun and entertainment games and were distributed delicious snacks. The MHRT had sent buses to all the schools to bring the children and their parents to the venue.

Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and senior journalist Rajshekhar Koti were the chief guests.

All the children were presented a certificate and medal.

MHRT Chairman M.S. Sharath, Area Chairman Mayur Shah, MHLC Chairperson Asha, JSS University Dean (Academics) Dr. P.A. Kushalappa, the Kalyana Mantap proprietors Arun Govindegowda and Vidya Arun and others were present.
