Mysuru: Ex-syndicate member of University of Mysore M.S.S. Kumar has urged Higher Education Minister G.T. Devegowda to tender an apology for his irresponsible remarks against the Congress party.
In a press release, M.S.S. Kumar, referring to Minister G.T. Devegowda’s comments that undeserving persons were nominated as Syndicate Members by the Congress Government, said that it seems that the Minister has no knowledge of University Laws.
Maintaining that the Congress Government had nominated the Syndicate Members in accordance with section 28(G) of the University Act and taking into consideration social justice, he urged the Minister to apologise to the Congress for his senseless remark against the previous Government, which was in bad taste.
